Shino and Celadon Coffee Cup

Wheel-thrown stoneware cup, made with high iron flecked clay and fired in a reduction atmosphere in a gas kiln. The celadon glaze is coloured only with a small amount of red iron oxide which turns blue in the kiln. the shino has wild clay, dug up from around Sheffield.
